A mistake?

I think it may be in the category of 'you knit what?' Knit material just doesn't hang correctly, it is too heavy.

do you agree?

nope. not at all. i think the model is standing strangely, but i think the top is great.
i saw it in the IK magazine ad they had.

i really like the bulky drape of the knitted fabric.

yeah, i think it's okay— the concept at least. the yarn they used is nasty tho (all rayon and acrlyicy stuff) but i think it would look great in a silk, cos the drape would be better.

granted, that photo is terrrrible. it flatters neither the model nor the top. but that design of top does work well as a knit— I actually have a top very similar (not as bulky tho).
