Cheap books!

I've just discovered The Book Depository. Based in the UK, with cheaper than retail prices, no postage charge and fast delivery. It works out cheaper than retail prices here in most cases (I guess no GST makes a difference too)

I've been saving a list to go through at some stage, using the fantastic Ravelry to work out whether it's worth buying a book or not.

so this is cheaper than going to the bookstore for most books? is it like Amazon in the US? How I miss Amazon. I purchased all my gifts through them.

I was only looking at the knitting books, but some of them definately seemed cheaper than bookshops here. (Apologies to any beautiful independent bookshops, I do love you honest)

The clincher is that there's no postage, even to Australia.
