Centre Square

centre square hat

centre2model

Apologies for the bad lighting, it's always dark by the time I get home.

This is Centre Square from Knitty. It was the first fair isle, and the quickest knit I've ever done— completed in about 3 hours over two evenings. I used a single strand of Lamb's Pride Bulky rather than the doubled yarn recommended in the pattern. It seems to have worked out pretty well, but the colours haven't come up very accurately in the photos... it's charcoal and bright, bright fuchsia.

This was the perfect project for breaking my knitting drought— I think I'll have a hard time taking it off!
