Rowan Pattern, A Dress !!

Now when I first saw this pic on the woolshack site I thought it must've been for the top only... but no no no, it's a whole damn dress knit in kidsilk nite on teeny 3.25 needles...hahahahahaha
A future wedding gown perhaps?

yeah, it's kind of like the dress i decided to make with jaegerspun zephyr. except, you know, the yarn would cost $500 more...

I've seen this in person - it isn't even nice! The entire skirt is a gathered tube, with no shaping. As far as I'm concerned that completely defeats the point of knitting a dress.

hey ysolda! I know, I've just received the pattern from a kind soul on knitswap and I can't believe there isn't any shaping to the skirt, just a tube!! So you've seen it in person, pretty average then? Oh well, I'm glad I didn't buy the rowan mag then just for this dress pattern !
