i think so... tho it might stretch out of shape with time, and would be a pain to wash (for that reason).
but it is nice, and i think the drape of cotton would work...
wash? who needs to wash?

you could perhaps use a cotton blend? no? and yeah washing sux, clem, you should know that.. hehe :P
